VERY disappointing. SPOILER ALERT. So Alison meets a lovely black guy and suddenly all of Paxford has suddenly become not racist any more. And after waiting for two novels, for Pat to finally meet up again with Marek, we do not get to read it or witness it, she just leaves town and heads south.
To me, it was like the author was tired of writing the books, decided to wrap it all up in a couple of chapters and BOOM. Done.
